<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily input numerical values to a computer by displaying the key pad of a mouse at the display of the computer and making keys for constituting the displayed key pad correspond to the keys for constituting the key pad of the mouse. SOLUTION: The computer 10 monitors the movement in a direction X and the direction Y of the mouse 16 corresponding to the movement of the mouse 16, moves an icon 18 on the display 12 and displays the key pad of the mouse 16 on the display 12. The keys for constituting the displayed key pads completely correspond to the keys for constituting the key pad of the mouse 16. Thus, a user establishes the relative position of the key pad of the mouse 16 without moving the line of sight between the display 12 and the mouse 16, simultaneously confirms data inputted to the computer 10 and easily inputs the numerical values to the computer 10.</p> |
