PURPOSE: To improve ass-productivity and to prevent the generation of paper wrinkle or the like by forming an internal layer composed of a heat resistant porous elastic body having many bubbles and an external layer composed of an elastic body at the same time and vulcanizing under heating to integrate. CONSTITUTION: This double layer elastic roll is formed by extruding the internal layer 2 composed of the heat resistant porous elastic body and the external layer 3 composed of the heat resistant elastic body on the peripheral surface of the core metal 1 at the same time, vulcanizing under heating to foam the internal layer 2 and simultaneously integrating the internal layer 2 with the external layer 3. As the core metal 1, a cylindrical steel, stainless steel, aluminum alloy or the like is used and the surface is preferably primer treated. And as the heat resistant porous elastic body used for the internal layer 2, a HTV type silicone rubber composition, in which a foaming agent generating gas by heating is blended, is mentioned and as the heat resistant elastic body used for the external layer 3, a wear resistant elastic body capable of integrating with the internal layer 2 by vulcanization is used and the same or the same system elastic body composition material as that of the internal layer 2 is preferable. |
