PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a quick processing photographic material for medical radiography which can be processed within 30-60 seconds by a film processing machine, and has excellent photographic and physical characteristics. SOLUTION: In this recording material, a) application quantity of silver is at least 5g/M<2> , b) the weight ratio of application quantity of binder to application quantity of silver in a silver halide emulsion layer is at least 1.1; c) the average particle volume of the used silver halide grain is 0.35mm<3> or less; and d) processing water absorptivity is 20g/M<2> or less.
