<p>PURPOSE:To remove nitrogen oxide contained in waste water with high efficiency while properly controlling the addition amt. of a hydrogen doner. CONSTITUTION:The residual amt. in treated water of the hydrogen doner added to a denitrification tank 1 is estimated from the measured value of the oxidation-reduction potential (ORP) of the treated water in a conditioning tank 5 and the addition amt. of the hydrogen donor is changed corresponding to the estimated value. When the measured value of ORP becomes less than a set value, a part of treated water is circulated to the denitrification tank, a fixed bed type reactor packed with saddle-shaped ceramics, which are obtained using blast furnace granulated slag as a main raw material, as a bacteria immoblized carrier is pref. used. By this constitution, nitrogen oxide can be removed with high efficiency by the min. addition of the hydrogen donor.</p> |
