FIELD: heat-power engineering; firing-up of industrial boiler units. SUBSTANCE: thermoacoustic resonator 5 is made in form of thin-walled cylindrical casing with blanked-off outlet end 6 to which taper rod 7 is secured. Rod 7 is arranged axis-symmetrically inside casing and its pointed end is directed towards inlet end of resonator 5. Resonator 5 is mounted in prechamber 1 of gas-dynamic igniter; fuel coaxial supply branch pipe 4 and oxidizer coaxial supply branch pipe 3 are located opposite it. Fuel mixture from nozzle of branch pipe 3 is fed to prechamber 1 and then to resonator 5 where resonance acoustic vibrations are generated causing propagation of shock waves inside resonator 5. As a result fuel energy is liberated heating blanked-off section of resonator 5 and casing ignition of fuel mixture. Manufacture is considerably facilitated due to cylindrical form of resonator 5 and taper form of rod 7 since it is easier to make outer cone than inner one, especially in manufacture of small-sized igniters.
