PURPOSE: To process efficiently a transmission request of prescribed information from plural terminals. CONSTITUTION: When a transmission request is made to a request reception center 3 from plural terminals 2 via a public channel network 5 as to prescribed information such as music, movie, and game programs information stored in an information transmission center 1, the request reception center 3 sends the request to the information transmission center 1, which sends a transmission start time and a transmission end time of prescribed information on the transmission request to each terminal 2 respectively via the request equipment center 3. When the transmission start time comes, the information transmission center 1 sends the information via a broadcast satellite 4 and each terminal 2 receives respectively the information via the broadcast satellite 4. When the transmission end time comes, the information transmission center 1 finishes the transmission of the information and each terminal 2 finishes the reception of the information.
