PURPOSE: To enhance the sensitivity of an oxidation-reduction current measuring type dissolved oxygen measuring device, to measure a very small amt. of dissolved oxygen and to calculate the concn. of dissolved oxygen without correcting a measured value on the basis of the saturated dissolved oxygen amt. of a sample soln. CONSTITUTION: A sample soln. passage 4 and an opposed electrode chamber 6 are partitioned by a filter 2 and a detection electrode 8 is arranged to the sample soln. passage 4 in contact with the filter 2 and an opposed electrode 10 is arranged to the opposed electrode chamber 6. An electrolyte supply means forming an electrolyte soln. is provided to the opposed electrode chamber 6 and the electrolyte soln. formed in the opposed electrode chamber 6 is infiltrated into the filter 2 to be interposed between the detection electrode 8 and the opposed electrode 10 to electrically connect the detection electrode 8 and the opposed electrode 10. By this constitution, a sample soln. 12 flowing through the sample soln. passage 4 is brought into contact with the detection electrode 8 to directly measure the concn. of dissolved oxygen in the sample soln. 12 with high sensitivity according to an oxidation-reduction current measuring system. |
