PURPOSE: To provide a heat pipe cooling device in which a guard and a heat pipe are firmly fixed to each other. CONSTITUTION: A heat pipe cooling device is constructed such that a guard 1 is provided with a burring machining hole 3 for use in inserting and fixing a heat pipe 2, a cylindrical projection 4 of the burring machining hole 3 is positioned at a heat receiving block side and then adhesive agent 6 is applied t a large diameter part 12 located at the extremity end of the heat pipe 2 of the burring machining hole 3. With such an arrangement as above, the adhesive agent 6 enters the large diameter part 12 of the burring machining hole 6 to cause the contact area between the adhesive agent 6 and the guard 1 to be widened, resulting in that the guard 1 and the heat pipe 2 are firmly fixed to each other. |
