摘要 <p>PURPOSE: To convert an inter-frame differential DCT code with motion compensation to an in-frame DCT code. CONSTITUTION: The inter-frame differential DCT code with motion compensation inputted to an input terminal 10 is decoded partially by a variable length decoder circuit 12 and an inverse quantization circuit 14. An adder 16 outputs by adding the output of a conversion coefficient synthesis circuit 34 on that of the circuit 14. A memory control circuit 32 writes the output of the adder 16 on memory for local decode data out of the memory 28, 30. The output of the adder 16 is encoded again by a quantization circuit 18 and a variable length encoder circuit 20. A vector encoder/decoder circuit 26 decodes a motion vector code from an input terminal 24, and reads out one or plural conversion coefficient blocks in a reference frame from the circuit 32 or the memory 28, 30 corresponding to a decoding result. The circuit 34 calculates the data of one conversion coefficient block required for the adder 16 from the block data of the conversion coefficient block.</p>
