<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify the attaching of a suction valve by improving a plunger pump provided with a piston and a suction valve spring (compression coil spring) through which liquid flows, in a manner that the suction valve spring presses a ball (suction valve element) in the longitudinal hole of the piston toward a valve seat. SOLUTION: A cap-like supporting member 48 supporting a suction valve spring 4 is provided in the end surface side 30 of a piston 16, and thus support member 48 surrounds the end surface side 30 of the piston 16 to engage with the undercut portion 58 of the piston 16 from a rear side.</p> |
