DIAPHRAGM PUMP AND ITS FLUID COVER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a highly strong plastic fluid cover by using a minimum quantity of materials and/or materials of low strength. SOLUTION: The fluid housing 12 of a diaphragm pump has a rib structure where a plurality of radial ribs 28 are extended from the center of the fluid housing 12 to an outer peripheral rib 22 outward in a radial direction. A fastener hole 30 for fastening a pump member is positioned in a middle part between the outer peripheral rib 22 and a radial rib 28. A middle peripheral direction rib 24 is provided adjacently to the outer peripheral rib 22. The height of the radial rib 28 gradually increases from the center of the housing 12 toward the outer peripheral rib 22. The radial rib 28 and the peripheral direction ribs 22 and 24 are at equal height at intersections. By such high strength designing, an inlet and outlet integral type manifold is used without any excessive bending or leakage.
