<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plug valve in which in the case of excessive purging a guide tube, a guide line, a stem, a stem tube and the like are not eroded, and in the case of insufficient purging a valve stem or the stem tube does not cause sticking. SOLUTION: This plug valve is disposed in a chamber or a vessel containing fluidized particles and in a sealed space between the chamber or the vessel 35a and the valve stem and guide tube 12a to control the flow of the fluidized particles between the chamber or vessel 35a and the open end of a conduit which has a purging system functioning to keep the fluidized particles out of the space.</p> |
