PURPOSE: To provide a method for testing the execution of the program of an instruction to be executed by an integrated circuit for a specific use by forming the stack of a register, and connecting this stack with an instruction address bus so that the address of the first word of each instruction to be executed can be stored in the stack when the instruction is executed. CONSTITUTION: The program of this instruction is included in a program memory 5 connected through an instruction address bus 11 with a central processing unit 2. Then, the stack of a register is formed, and this stack is connected with an instruction address bus 22 so that the address of the first word of each instruction to be executed can be stored in the stack when the instruction is executed. Here, the central processing unit 2 is provided with an emulation unit 19 for storing the address of the first word of the instruction to be executed by a program instruction unit (those words are stored in a program memory 5). |
