PURPOSE: To prevent a bad influence caused by fuel flowing backward into the assist air passage of an internal combustion engine. CONSTITUTION: An assist air feeding device is provided with a fuel back flow time judgement means 84 for judging the fuel back flow time of the fuel quantity back flowing into an assist air passage 73 exceeding a specified value, an air-fuel ratio open control time judgement means 76 for judging feed back control of the air-fuel ratio or the air-fuel ratio open control time during other than idling time, and a back flow fuel discharging means 77 which forcibly opens an assist air control valve 74 at time of fuel back flow and air-fuel ration open control. |
