<p>The cupboard's double window slide (11) is of the sash type, and contains a downward, laminar air flow, extracted at the base of the cupboard (2). Air is distributed from a blower-supplied pressurised volume above leaving, via filters (7) below. Air descending through the window interspace, leaves the lower edge, to be extracted at the floor of the cupboard. Running in an airtight, closed recess (12), the slide is connected on one side to the source of pressurised air (18,24), and on the other to the interspace (11). The result is an air curtain between the edge of the window slide and the base (4) of the cupboard.</p> |
