PURPOSE: To shorten a set-up time in the case an electrophotographic device rises and to reduce noise made by a cooling fan in the midst of standby. CONSTITUTION: The surface temperature of the heat roller 5a of a fixing device 5 is detected by a temperature detecting part 3 having a thermistor arranged near the heat roller 5a. After the surface temperature of the heat roller 5a detected by the temperature detecting part 3 attains a fixed temperature, the cooling fan 4 starts driving by the cooling fan control part 2a of the control part 2. The cooling fan control part 2a of the control part 2 switches the rotating speed of the cooling fan 4 to low speed when the electrophotographic device stands by. |
