<p>PURPOSE: To transfer video data without using a buffer memory or using maximally the buffer memory when the buffer memory is used. CONSTITUTION: First, when video is transfer to a computer 3 from a digital VTR 2, the VTR 2 is instructed to perform 'Reproduction' from the computer 3 through an arithmetic processing section 8. Next, reproduced video is inputted to a video data input section 4, and is transferred to the arithmetic processing section 8 and is transferred to the computer 3 through an external device connecting part 7. Next, when video is transferred from the computer 3 to the digital VTR 2, contrary to the above, the digital VTR 2 is instructed to perform 'Recording' from the computer 3 through the arithmetic processing section 8, and video is outputted to the digital VTR 2 from a video data outputting section 5 through the arithmetic processing section 8 from the computer 3.</p> |
