<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sleeve assembly for a battery cell having an excellent thermal conductivity and a light weight by composing a cylindrical sleeve for holding the battery cell of an epoxy resin member in which elongated fibers with a high coefficient of thermal conductivity are filled. SOLUTION: A battery cell 54 is held with a sleeve assembly 22 through a cylindrical recess 52. The sleeve assembly 22 comprises a thermal sleeve 30 in which first elongated fibers 38 extending to one of longitudinal directions are filled, and a structure sleeve 32 in which second netted elongated fibers 42, 44 are filled. These sleeves 30, 32 are favorably composed of almost 60 volume % of elongated fibers made of graphite, etc., having about 0.127 mm thickness and such a coefficient of thermal conductivity almost the same as AI and about 40 volume % of an epoxy resin. The first elongated fiber 38 forms a heat lead-out part by connecting its distal end part 36 to a base member 48. The sleeves 30, 32 are provided with a slot 56 which reaches an end enlarged stress escape hole 62 in the vicinity of the end part 36 while extending from a basic end part 34 and this is brought into close contact with the battery cell 54 by tightening it with a cramper 64.</p> |
