FIELD: gastroenterology. SUBSTANCE: gastric juice probe taken on an empty stomach is examined for total lipids by spectrophotometry at 220 nm. Where the values of total lipids in EO-test are 2.14 and higher , one may judged as progressing the disease. The values which are of 1.53 to 2.13 indicate incomplete remission. The values ranging of 1. 01 to 1.52 indicate the apparent remission. EFFECT: allows one to estimate objectively the course of gastroduodenal ulcera.
