PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the use of a novel silver carboxylate compound in black- and-white and color photothermal photographic and thermosensitive photographic image forming components. SOLUTION: The silver carboxylate usable as a silver source in black-and- white thermosensitive or photothermal photographic component, or as a dye- based oxidizing agent for thermosensitive or photothermal photographic color image forming structure can be represented by the following formula; R<3> -X-(CH2 - CH2 -X)n -L-CR<1> R<2> -COO<-+> Ag (wherein R<1> and R<2> each independently represent hydrogen, a halogen, alkyl, substituted alkyl, aromatic or substituted aromatic group; R<3> represents an alkyl, aryl, or L-CR<1> R<2> -COO<-+> Ag, L represents a bonding group for bonding CR<1> R<2> to X, X is selected from the group consisting of O, S, and NR<4> , wherein R<4> is selected from ammg an alkyl, substituted alkyl, aromatic or substituted aromatic group; and n represents an integer of 0-12). |
