PURPOSE: To provide a sub-band audio signal synthesis device capable of interpo lating without separately adding an interpolating frame memory. CONSTITUTION: When a sub-band is synthesized, by repeating processing so that a signal in a ring memory 15 is read out while shifting by N samples (N: number of sub-bands), and it is added to a window signal from a multiplier 13 by an addition means 14, and the result is written in the ring memory 15, the cumulative addition signals of the window signal are obtained, and the signal cumulatively added by the number of prescribed times is outputted. On the other hand, when interpolation, the write into the ring memory 15 is interrupted, and the cumulative addition signals are read out so as to superpose pose for a prescribed period in two systems, and a cross fade signal is generated erated by the multiplier 25 for the prescribed period, and the read out cumulative addition signals and the cross fade signal are outputted as interpolation signals, respectively. |
