PURPOSE: To provide a cable for single-wire transmission which can transmit not only signals but also power by means of optical fibers. CONSTITUTION: A power unit of a transmission system 30A causes current of such a frequency that allows resonance to occur at a secondary side of a monovibrator to flow to a primary side and thereby generates a high potential and then causes a change in electric charge along a metal coating 94 of a cable for single-wire transmission 90 which is connected to the transmission system 30A. A power receiving system 60B converts the change in electric charge to the DC output by means of a reconverter. At that time, power is transmitted from the transmission system 30A to the power receiving system 60B owing to a change in electric charge between the metal coating 94 and the earth, therefore power transmission can be conducted by means of the metal coating 94 of a glass fiber 92. |
