PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform an effective commercial advertisement by transmitting an interactive message to a video display unit and asking viewers to answer to the message so that the answerers may have interests in the advertisement. SOLUTION: Interactive program units 12a-12c communicate with a system controller 16. The controller 16 transmits a plurality of interactive messages prepared by means of the units 12a-12c to a multiplexer 18. The multiplexer 18 receives the alternately arranged messages, divides the messages into a plurality of signals, and transmits the signals to display units 14a-14c. The units 14a-14c respectively provided with interface units 22a-22c receive answers from viewers communicated through data input devices and transmit the answers to the system controller 16 through the multiplexer 18. The multiplexer 18 correlates the alternately arranged data received from the units 22a-22c and awakes the interests of the answerers to an advertisement in an interactive way by transmitting the data to the controller 16 in the alternately arranged form.
