Adapter which comprises a frame for securing two bicycles (or just one) in a vertical position and with a lateral separation so that their wheels coincide with the rolling planes of the rails of a railway. Small-diameter rollers, for example of the skid type, run along the inner faces of the rails to keep the frame and bicycle assembly on the tracks, fulfilling the function of a railway wheel flange. The structure may be adjusted to fit various gauges. The form of the frame may be varied in order to secure a single bicycle. Utilization of abandoned railway tracks. <IMAGE>
