METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING POLYESTER COPOLYMER

The method prepares copolyesters of good mold ability, high solvent resistance, combined with good electrical property, good elongations and hydrolysis resistance. The copolyesters are prepared by: (A) employing 1,4-butanediol as a glycol and terephthalic acid as a bifunctional carboxylic acid; (B) copolymerizing either isophthalic acid or dimethyl isophthalate with poly(alkylene glycol).
