摘要 In the absorber assembly, to heat a liquid medium by solar energy, the plate absorber body (2) is of copper with the heat absorbent surface towards the sun. It is shaped to give at least one tubular bulge (3) in a straight line along the whole plate (2). The butting edges of the bulge are closed, along its whole length, to form a tube (7) channel for the liquid medium. The manufacturing process uses a rolling mill to shape the tubular bulge (3) in the plate (2). In the first step, the plate is bent downwards to form an obtuse angle, which is converted into a U-shaped bulge. A mandrel is inserted, and the bulge legs are bent round to change the U-shape into a circle. The butting edges at the top of the circle are pressed together and closed by a welded seam. The material is then cut to the required dimensions for a solar energy absorbent plate body.
