Class of invention: wall seal unit in particular for bell-shaped, cup-shaped or tubular coverings for pipe ducts, connections and the like, in particular a wall seal unit for rose coverings used for plumbing joints. Problem addressed by the invention: to create a simple, and thus easily manufactured and installed, wall seal unit for coverings, particularly in plumbing, which is durable and easy to clean. Characteristics of the proposed solution: the seal unit comprises at lease one strand-shaped, in particular ring-shaped sealing element (10, 20) which can be inserted between the covering and the wall and consists at least in part of a soft elastic and/or soft plastic elastomer or appropriate elastomer mixture with a permanent set of at least approximately 2 % and in particular at least approximately 5 %. |
