<p>A method and device for measuring the mobility distribution of particulate elements using incoherent light holography, said particulate elements being optically labelled, wherein or whereby a simple hologram is formed (100) for each particulate element at a series of periodic moments representing the transfer function as a function of the instantaneous position of the element. The transfer function is modulated (101) by a periodic specific transfer function to label each simple hologram and generate conjugated simple holograms which are integrated (102) at each moment of formation to form a compound velocity hologram containing coded mobility information for each particulate element. Each compound velocity hologram is decoded (103) to obtain the mobility information. The method and device are applicable to particulate elements in a stagnant or flowing medium.</p> |
