The present invention relates to a device which enables the toe-in of a pair of steered road wheels to be checked easily. A rod with a resilient locking arrangement is attached to the outside of each of a pair of steered wheels. The length of the rod and its inclination relative to the wheel are such that it remains clear of all parts of the body when the wheel is rotated. The other end of the rod should be positioned as close as possible to the ground. The distances between the rods before and after the wheels are rotated through about a half turn are compared to provide a measure of the toe-in. |
