<p>Compounds that are rice phytoalexins, have an antifungal activity against blast Piricularia oryzae Cavara and so forth, and have each a cassane skeleton represented by general formula (I); phytocassane EL having an elicitor activity and represented by structural formula (II); processes for producing antifungal terpene compounds or phytocassane EL by adding cellular extracts of plant pathogenic fungi to the liquid culture medium of rice calluses and separating the product; and rice disease control drugs containing phystocassane EL as the active ingredient: wherein R1 represents a pair of H and H or a pair of α-OH and β-OH; R2 represents a pair of α-H and β-OH, a pair of H and H, or O; and R3 represents O or a pair of α-H and β-OH.</p> |
