<p>This invention provides methods for the treatment or prevention of psychiatric disorders which comprises administering to a mammal in need thereof a combination of a tachykinin receptor antagonist and either a serotonin agonist or a selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor. This administration may be concurrent or sequential, with either of the two activities being administered first. The psychiatric disorders which may be treated by the methods of the present invention include panic disorder, panic attack, depression, anxiety, obsessive-compulsive disorder, post-traumatic stress disorder, borderline personality disorder, agoraphobia, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, disruptive behavior disorder, intermittent explosive disorder, and borderline personality disorder.</p> |
