A series of rigid profiled components (1) are arranged to form an internal wall panel, with a series of flat plates arranged to form a parallel external panel. The pair of panels enclose a mass of insulating material (2A,B). Profiled connectors (3) are arranged to link adjacent pairs of the flat plates to each other. The connectors consist of a transverse plate portion (4) which contacts the edges of adjacent plates, and a perpendicular flange (5) which extends into the mass of insulating material, e.g. between adjacent blocks of insulating material. The flange may contact a similar flange (8) formed as an inward projection of the edge of a profiled component forming the internal wall panel.
