The card is made from cardboard or other rigid material having a white background. It is 2.5 mm (/! 1 mm) thick and is printed with all the possible choices for answers to multiple-choice questions posed e.g. as part of a driving test. The surface of the card is made from or covered with a material which allows marks made by certain felt-tipped pens to be erased. The card can be made from a backing layer covered with a PVC layer in white or other suitable colour, which can be silk-screen printed, and this can be covered with a layer of polypropylene to provide the wipe-clean properties.
