The trap is formed from two independent sides (2), which are mobile as far as the upper edge is concerned. The upper edge moves along a slideway (3) on rollers (4) and on the lower edge on the wheels (5). The sides are drawn together by a spiral spring (6) and are retained with hooks, which are mounted with spiral springs (9), in notches (10). The trap is triggered by two iron rods (11), fixed to the sides of the trap by hinges (12) and held at the centre by a second hinge (13). The rods are held in balance in a horizontal position by a piece (14) fixed to the base (15). Hooks (16) are fixed to the rods to hold the bait. At the bottom of the trap, a mirror (17) is installed in a slideway (18) with a handle (19). The trap is fixed to the ground by pegs (20).
