PURPOSE:To reduce the number of times of comparison with a synchronization pattern by comparing N bits after the start of synchronization detection in a received synchronization frame with N bits in the synchronization frame, measuring the distance of code and comparing the pattern with a comparison pattern stored in advance based on the code distance. CONSTITUTION:In order to establish frame synchronization, at first an MPU receives reception data for 8-bits each, compares the reception data with preceding 24-bits (6CC96C) of the synchronization frame 32-bits (6CC96CC9) to detect a code distance with the synchronization frame. Then a shift pattern is located based on the detected code distance and the reception data 24 bits and the comparison pattern of the shift pattern are compared to confirm that the pattern is the relevant shift pattern. In this case, when plural decided patterns are present thereon, the bit comparison pattern table stored in advance is referenced to decide the final pattern. Thus, the number of times of comparison with the synchronization pattern is reduced. |
