The traffic lane separator comprises two separated prismatic elements (1,2) each having a ground support surface (11,21) and a side support surface (13,23) for the other element. A longitudinal articulation joint (3) connects the two elements near their side support surface and allows their relative pivoting between flat and open positions. The joint consists of tubular sleeves on each element which take a rod forming a spindle in the manner of a piano hinge. The elements which are hollow and ballasted have a truncated parallelogram section. They have rigidifying cavities (17) and the ground support surfaces have water passages (12). |
