The milling roller (13) has a mixer roller (15) with pivot axle (16) parallel to, and above, the milling roller's pivot axle (14). Distributed over the mixer roller axle's periphery are mixer arms (22) fitting into gaps (39) between each two milling tools (30) positioned on the milling roller. The mixer roller is driven in a direction of rotation pre-set by the rotary direction (18) of the milling roller. The mixer arms are part of star shaped discs or protrude in a star shape from the periphery of a roller.
