Salt storage and loading installation

The covered salt storage zone (1) has a horizontal surface (3) and an inclined surface (4). There is an opening (5) at the intersection between the horizontal and inclined surfaces. The inclined surface of the storage zone is covered with a resin in order to reduce the coefficient of friction between it and the stored product. A sluice (7) prevents passage of the stored product when closed, and allows the flow of the product towards a gallery (6) when open. The sluice comprises two closely placed parallel cylindrical rollers in the surface of which are teeth. A plate between the rollers prevents the product from flowing counter current between them. A conveyor (8) transports the product towards a loading zone. An unloading platform (9), overhanging the storage zone, enables filling of the zone.
