The weighing machine has a chassis(1) having U shape channels(1a) in which are fixed strain gauges(2). The chassis(1) being covered by a baseplate(4) having inverted U shaped channels(4a) which cover the channels(1a) without being in contact with each other. The baseplate(4b) has another plate which connects the channels(4a). This plate(4b) being quite near to the floor. The baseplate(4) presses against the bearing(3) of the strain gauges(2).
