A drawer with a sagging base is repaired using a device having an outer slider 1, attached to the front of the drawer, which receives an inner slider 2 attached to the rear of the drawer. The two sliders lock in the engaged position by way of a ratchet and pin and serve to hold the drawer together and support the base. A further embodiment (Fig 4) for larger drawers shows an outer slider having three channels at right angles each receiving a slider attached respectively to a side or the back of the drawer. A construction (Fig 5) for repairing a broken connection between the drawer front and a side has two similarly engaging parts attached respectively to the inner surfaces of the drawer front and the corresponding side. |
