Vehicle bulkhead arrangement for installing driving controls

The bulkhead panel of an automobile has three symmetrically located openings that are used for installation of the driving controls. One position (2) is used for the brake, clutch and accelerator pedals (7), together with the steering wheel column (9). Part of the braking system (8) is located in the engine compartment on the other side. A further location (4) is used for the installation of the vehicle electronic control modules (6) and a central location (3) is used for the heating or air conditioning system. Smaller sections are available for other functions.
