Contact protection for uncovered car wheels

The car wheel protection is intended against similar wheels of another car. If the travel direction a rotary mounted member is fitted in front, or at rear of the wheel, or in both positions. Pref. the rotation axis of the rotary member is parallel to that of the respective wheel. Typically at least one rotary member is located at the same level over the road surface as the rotation axis of the respective wheel. The rotary member may be a cylinder and its rotation axis is secured to the car by a hinge.
