The heat-sink has cooling vanes (20) mounted at intervals on and protruding from a base plate (12). Each cooling vane is a hollow profile body with two lateral vane walls. The vanes are mounted in a longitudinal or insertion groove or similar recess in the base plate. The cooling vanes are of U-shape in cross-section and are made by extrusion or from a rolled strip. The vane walls, which are made as free arms (22), are held clamped in the longitudinal grooves (14) of the base plate by forming a restoring force.
