Composable electrical interface device

The interfacing system includes a printed circuit board (30) which is intended to be connected to a processing unit, such as a programmable robot. The board is supported in an elongate base (20) provided with grooves (22a, 23a) running along its length. Active or passive interface elements may be connected by connectors which may be soldered on to the circuit board. The interface elements are situated in modular elements which have a given size w.r.t. the card dimensions. They may be individual unit size, or multiples of this unit size. The interface elements are of the required width to fit across the circuit board, fitting against the side pieces of the support base (20).
