Thermoelectric cooling system

The thermoelectric cooling system uses the Peltier Effect and has the following construction. There is a heat exchanger (1) in the cold chamber to absorb the heat, connected to two thermoelectric cascades, which lie either beside or above one another. Each cascade comprises at least two thermoelectric batteries, each with at least fourteen semiconducting elements in series, alternately assigned to the warm and cold sides of the battery. There is a heat exchanger (2) outside the cold chamber but in thermal contact with the cascade, serving a heat-emitting unit. There is heat flow from the first to second exchanger through the cascades.
