The display box comprises an upper face (1) to which are joined two transverse faces (2) and two side faces (3,4). One side face (3) is extended by a bottom face (5) with a cut out window (6) and several fold down flaps (7). The bottom flaps (7) define notches (8) having an axis of symmetry identical to the longitudinal axis of symmetry of the window. When the flaps are folded down against the bottom they cover the whole of its surface except for the window. The second side face (4) is extended by a reinforcing bottom (5') with a cut out window (6') and extended by opposite flaps (7') which define notches (8'). This structure is such that the window opening (6) may be superposed with the opening (6') of the reinforcing bottom when the box is closed.
