<p>PURPOSE: To reduce the occupied area of a paper feeding member without a drop in the feed length thereof or an increase in the wear thereof by forming the member to be disc or truncated cone type, and inclining the rotation axial center of the member slightly from a vertical line. CONSTITUTION: A paper feeding member 10 formed out of disc type friction material is rotatably provided on a frame 12 above the feed area of a paper feeding section, with the shaft 11 slightly inclined from a vertical line. Furthermore, the shaft 11 is jointed. to a drive device via a bevel gear mechanism 13. Also, a part of the radial outer side of the lower surface of the member 10 is kept in contact with paper sheets 6, and the feeding member 10 rotates in a direction for feeding the sheets 6 via the bevel gear mechanism 13. The sheets 6 in contact with the member 10 are thereby fed one by one.</p> |
