<p>PURPOSE: To reduce the number of motors and make a device compact by using a single motor for the travel of sheets in the first paper sheet feed tray and for the delivery of sheets from the second paper sheet feed tray in common. CONSTITUTION: A pushing-up lever 4c for an upper paper sheet feed tray 121 is integrated with a pickup frame 4 to support a feed roller group for a lower paper sheet feed tray 21. Also, the feed roller group and a paper sheet feed motor are connected to each other with one-way clutches 10 and 11 for the transmission of a driving force only unidirectionally. At the same time, the frame 4 and the motor are jointed to each other via an electromagnetic clutch 12, so as to freely transmit and interrupt a driving force for the selective actuation of the lever 4c and the roller group on the operation of the single paper sheet feed motor, thereby reducing the number of motors.</p> |
