PURPOSE: To obtain a yarn rope having excellent tensile strength by covering and reinforcing a para-based aromatic polyamide yarn bundle with a thermoplastic resin containing para-based aromatic polyamide short fibers. CONSTITUTION: A paralleled yarn bundle comprising plural 3000de para-based aromatic polyamide fibers is twisted at 50t/m to form a core yarn. A mixture of a polyester elastomer resin with a suitable amount of para-based aromatic polyamide short fibers cut to 1mm length is coated on the core yarn in 1mm thick to obtain the objective resin-coated yarn rope. |
