PURPOSE: To obtain an agricultural side-covering material excellent in durability, recyclability, and workability such as a winding work, and useful for green houses, etc., by forming a synthetic resin layer on the surface of a base film comprising a vinyl chloride film having specific physical properties. CONSTITUTION: This side-covering material for agriculture is produced by forming a layer (thickness is preferably 0.01-10μm) of one or more synthetic resins selected from a fluororesin, al urethane resin, and an acrylic resin on at least one side of a base film comprising a >=0.2mm thick vinyl chloride resin film, wherein the maximum elongation X of the base film used for the covering material and the maximum elongation Y of a reclaimed film obtained by remelting and reforming the covering material satisfies the relation of the inequality. Inorganic particles having an aver-age particle diameter of 0.01-20μm are preferably added to the base film and the synthetic resin layer.
